§ 35.102. MEDICAL AND HOSPITAL EXPENSES.

  • The Metro Government will assume and pay directly from its own funds or from the proceeds of insurance procured by the Metro Government, or a combination thereof, medical and hospital expenses in excess of, or not otherwise paid by all applicable hospital, medical, and workmen’s compensation insurance, required for the treatment of in-the-line-of-duty injuries sustained by eligible employees under this subchapter. Any such employee sustaining an in- the-line-of-duty injury may select the doctor and hospital of his or her choice within the Metro Government for such required treatment.
