§ 73.04. REGISTRATION STICKERS.

  • (A) It shall be the duty of the Revenue Commission to cause to be prepared and issued to the owner of every motor truck, truck tractor, or trailer on the payment of the license fee provided herein, a registration sticker showing that such motor truck, truck tractor, or trailer has paid the necessary Metro Government license fee provided for by law. It shall be the duty of the owner or operator of the motor truck, truck tractor, or trailer to display the sticker at all times on the windshield of such motor truck, truck tractor, or trailer. The sticker shall be furnished at the expense of the Revenue Commission.
    (B) Notwithstanding (A) above, the Revenue Commission shall issue to the owner of every motor truck qualified for license tags, stickers, or other displays issued in conformance with state or local regulations showing that the vehicle is used for transportation of handicapped persons, upon the payment of a processing fee of $1, a registration sticker as provided in subsection (A) above. It shall be the duty of the owner or operator of the motor truck to display the sticker at all times on the windshield of the motor truck.
