Agencies of the Metro Government which choose to record or re-record public records on microfilm or other image management technology shall abide by the standards of the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives.
(A) No reproductive or re-recording copy may replace an original record as an official public record without the approval of the State Archives and Records Commission.
(B) The Technology Department shall consult with agencies of the Metro Government on any project which seeks to substitute a reproductive copy for an original public record.
