§ 73.33. BUS ROUTES.

  • It shall be unlawful for the operator of any bus to engage in the business of transportation on any street, or part thereof, which is not part of a bus route approved by the Director of Public Works, over which the bus has been authorized to operate. No bus route shall be established until the Director of Public Works has made a study of traffic conditions. In an emergency, the Chief of Police shall have authority to alter and establish bus routes. The Cabinet Secretary for Public Protection is authorized to alter such routes under similar conditions for a period of time not to exceed 15 days.
