There is created a merit board for certain employees of the Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness Department, the Louisville/Jefferson County Planning Commission, and the Louisville/Jefferson County Air Pollution Control District. Provided, however, that any employee covered under a collective bargaining agreement pursuant to LMCO §§ 35.050 through 35.080 shall not be covered by this chapter.
